Well, we're off in 3 days! It's been a busy week, figuring out what to do with 5 kids while my sister Sara is finding out that she has kidney stones in a most unpleasant manner. :-( Pray for her!
We packed all our stuff into the moving van yesterday, so it's off and will be waiting for us when we arrive in New York. Now all we have is a bunch of camping stuff and clothes to wear as we take a couple of weeks and travel across the country. We're really excited, and I'm glad that we will have things to look at and do as we get to New York, instead of me just sitting in the car worrying and being sad.
We've really loved being able to stay at my parent's house for this last little while--it's given me the opportunity to spend a lot more time with sisters and family. We hoped to get a family portrait before we left, but that probably won't happen now. That's okay--added motivation to come back so we can get one.
Probably my next post will be from New York. Until then, Shen zhufu nin!
