It makes me happy.

Over Christmas break, we did some coloring with family and nieces. Mom was so good to put up all our art on her fridge, and I told her that I would put her art up on my fridge. So when I got home, I did. And now, every time I go to the fridge, I can see my mom's artwork. It makes me happy to know that my mommy loves me all the way across the country. (Kook, by the way, is my nickname). I love you too Mom!

Did this happen to anyone else?

So, there is this new thing that happens every once in a while. Baby Reid has gotten strong enough so that when he kicks I can feel him pretty well, and every once in a while he will hit just the right place (right on my sides), and it feels just like being tickled from the inside, and I just laugh out loud. Richard looks at me funny when I'm sitting there reading or crocheting and randomly giggle, but I can't help it. I've never heard of this from anybody else, and I'm wondering if anybody else felt like that. My guess is that later on it will be less ticklish and more hurty, but I'll enjoy this sensation while I have it. It's fun. :-) The doctor changed the date from the 29th to the 24th, so two months to go....

Snow

So, while it hasn't been nearly as snowy as you might think here in Saratoga (they're getting a lot more south of us), we've had a few inches that makes the tree outside our window look all pretty and lean a bit. It also inspired Richard to finally get us out and take a picture we've been wanting to take for a while--they have these lamp posts along our street, and they just reminded us of Narnia. So that's our Narnia lamp post picture. (It looks like it's raining, but it's really snowing).

I got a glider!! We got one off Craigslist for a good price and we both really like it. It doesn't have cushions (though they're easily addable), and it makes it feel that much homier and old-fashioned. Also, there was a request for a belly picture, so that's me and my belly in my glider. :-) I am getting bigger!
