This is Samuel's new favorite face. He loves to just tuck his lower lip in. I think it's because he likes to feel his teeth down there. :-)

Samuel being cute in his crib. He was hugging (and biting) the giraffe, but of course stopped when I got the camera.

This is my cute dress I got for my birthday--my hubby took me shopping. We got another shirt, too. All for only $13! Sears was having a sale. :-) Then we went to the beach and strolled while Samuel snoozed (the beach tends to have that effect on him--he dislikes the water, but will sleep there every time!). Then we got dinner. It was a great birthday. Thanks honey!

This cute top is from Mom Reid. I got to wear it the very evening I got it for a dinner that Rich's work buddies were going to. Thanks Mom!

I am sorry I don't have Halloween pictures--I couldn't find our camera that day. We have some on our video camera, but have yet to find the cord for it. Rich was Captain Hook, Samuel was Peter Pan, and I was Wendy. Just imagine the cutest family imaginable dressed up in said fashion and you will know how we looked. :-)

Teething!

Hello!! Update: Samuel now has two teeth on his bottom gums, and he is a ferocious biter. It didn't bother him too much--just one day of fussiness, and he was good. What a trooper! Here he is in his first time ever wearing a jacket. Mostly it was to try on--jackets are still not necessary here in SC.

Here is Samuel's "I'm looking at something really interesting" stare. He happens to be looking at the "I Love the USA" sign from the last post. He gets this look a lot these days.

Here he is chilling in his high chair--he always has his feet up--I don't think he knows there are holes for his legs to go through.

I'm always trying to catch a picture of him with both fists in his mouth, which happens often enough, but of course not long enough for me to grab the camera and snap a picture. So you get the watered down version--one fist only.

Food!! :-) He's liking lots of different foods-fruit, peas, rice cereal. He has a useful habit of sucking his thumb in between every bite ("to wash it down" says Dad), which gives us time to get the next bite ready--what a patient guy! It does spread the mess rather quickly, though. Sometimes WE have to wait for him to take it out of his mouth. Rich mentioned that that's kind of like Heavenly Father--He always has blessings waiting for us if we would just get our thumbs out of our mouths and accept them!

Samuel tries on his first hat. :-)

Ratatouille! Well, it's not real ratatouille because it doesn't have eggplant, but it still looks cool.
